Next Delegation from Krasnodar
Dear Friends,
Please help spread the word that we of the Tallahassee Krasnodar Sister City Program (TKSCP) will be hosting a delegation of secondary education policy makers from Krasnodar, Russsia from December 10 to 20 of this year. We very much want to showcase our secondary education resources and we hope to involve secondary education policy makers of the Florida Department of Education, of the College of Education at Florida State University, of Leon County Schools, and of others who are involved with public and private secondary education. Though we have some financial assistance from the Open World Leadership Center (http://www.openworl d.gov) that will pay for air transportation and a few other things, we will be needing host families for the delegation of six people. If you, or if you know of others, who may be interested in helping with this project please send us contact information. We are especially interested in hearing from those of you who are involved with secondary education because we are searching for ideas as to things the delegation should do while they are here. We will soon start a newsletter that will keep all interested people informed about this project. If any of you have questions please contact me because I am the local coordinator for their visit. Sincerely, Bob Broedel Bob Broedel, President Tallahassee- Krasnodar Sister City Program (TKSCP) P.O.
